7 Cool Hidden Speaker Systems (Can you Spot Them?)
September 11, 2008 by Speakers Fan
In modern homes, there is somewhat an unwritten rule for installing sound systems. It seems that displaying your loudspeakers or subwoofers out in the open is a no-no especially when elegance and neatness is given appropriate attention. And we couldn’t really blame the owners for having such a ‘hidden’ policy, especially if hiding your speakers and subwoofers mean your room will look a lot slicker, cleaner, and highly sophisticated. Just like these seven examples of cool speaker systems hidden (or so they seem) from unsuspecting guests.
Aren’t they just cool?

This speaker system may not be totally hidden from view but the design and color blend so well with its environment, rendering a camouflaged effect.

A home-theater system installed in such a way that the speakers are out of sight.

A classy bookshelf with built-in speakers. Can you tell where they are?

Don’t let that seemingly antique furniture fool you. You don’t know what’s going on above your head.

A guessing game of which among the wall cabinets contain the speakers can be a good ice-breaker.

That cabinet looks really suspicious. But looking up, another one is rearing its ugly (well, not really) head.

That cool speaker system comes with a very handy custom enclosure. Nobody would suspect once that thing stays closed.
